Dorcas Debono

Dorcas Debono was born on 15th January 1993. and lives at Mġarr, Malta.

At the age of 13 years Dorcas started singing and she started to compete in various local festivals competitions. For Dorcas this was her first step in her carrier as they helped her to develop her talent so good.

People started to get familiar with Dorcas through various tv stations and various tv programmes.

Back in 2008 Dorcas had her first experience in a higher level here in Malta were she was with the semi-finalists in the competition Konkors Kanżunetta Indipendenża Talent Ġdid with an original Song named “Stilla”.

After she passed through this experience Dorcas kept on studying the voice with serious commitment and on a higher level.

She participated during various Singing competitions here in Malta and also abroad.

In the year 2011 Dorcas won the festival named Ilwien Mużkali with her original song “Mhux Tassew” which was another great experience for her. She competed in more festivals here in Malta on a very good level.

This year Dorcas was also taking part in the competition Passport To Indifest during the tv programm “Sas-Sitta”

On December 2012 Dorcas left to Romania Bucarest to represent Malta and compete over there where she got 3rd place.

On the 9 November 2013 Dorcas took part in the Festival Internazzjonali tal-Kanzunetta Maltija 2013 and finished fouth palced with the song Din Jien music by Dominic Cini 'Minik' and lyrics of Rita Pace, beside that Dorcas win the WAFA Award.
