Adrian Galea was born on 1 December, 1965 at Pieta. Today lives at Imġarr Malta he is a drummer and singer. He come from a background music scene, His father was the famous Maltese singer Edwin Galea and her mother was Vivienne the only daughter of the famous band entertainer Oscar Lucas.
Adrian started playing the drums at the age of seven years. Hes stared his studies at the age of ten at the Johann Strauss School of Music under the tutorship of Charles ‘City’ Gatt and Joe Curmi.
He later started performing in various night clubs and hotels with manu local artists, namely his father Edwin Galea, his grandfather Oscar Lucas and the great Maltese saxophonist Sammy Murgo.
Adrian is a jazz lover and in his free time he practices techniques and inverts different jazz rhythms, for example afro-cuba, bee bop and others.
He has participated in various concerts, however the finest experience in jazz music was when he played in a seesion with a renowned personality in the jazz music scene, saxophonist Tommy Whittle. From time to time Adrian was invited as a judge in several festivals held around the island. Adrian is married to Josephine and got two children Michela Galea a well known singer, actress born at 1997 and Luca born at 2000.
