Sunday 03 August 2008 (Michael Bugeja - The Sunday Times of Malta)
Following the band’s resurrection in 2006 and the addition of bassist Rex to its ranks a few months ago, Maltese metal band Norm Rejection recently concluded a deal with renegade online label Death To Music Productions for the internet release of the five-track Malta Not For Sale EP. In a move typical of the band’s radical ideology, Norm Rejection’s EP, along with several other releases, is available as a free download through DTM after registering with the non-profit internet for a minimal donation. In a statement, Death to Music Productions described Norm Rejection’s release as “a varied, mature and tasteful take on politicized hardcore metal, bringing to mind many rock and metal artists; from Black Sabbath and Deep Purple through to Prong and Sepultura”. Norm Rejection is Wil (vocals), Michael Briguglio (drums), Sean Vukovic (guitar) and Rex (bass).
