Sean Vukovic was born on 15 April, 1975 in Sliema. He is a contemporary guitarist who composes and produces original music ranging from blues and rock to modern classical, fusion and metal. Apart from this, he is the lead guitarist for Maltese epic doom metal band Forsaken, Crossover metal band Norm Rejection and local artist NV.

Sean Vukovic is married to Nikki Vukovic, and works as a full-time contemporary guitar teacher at the Johann Strauss School of Music at Valletta and has long earned himself a reputation as one of the foremost rock guitarists on the island with lots of live performances and playing and recording experiences on his back.

In 2010, his song Song For Rudy landed him an Honourable Mention in the Instrumental category of the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) described as "the songwriting competition to take note of" by the New York Times, and one of the biggest of its kind with over 20,000 entries.

In 2012 he was awarded another Honourable Mention for his song Hurricane Blue which was one of the last 16 songs in the instrumental section of the ISC finals, with which Vukovic was awarded an Honourable Mention by the panel of judges that include leading industry officials and iconic artists such as Tom Waits, Jeff Beck, Derek Trucks, McCoy Tyner.
