The Rock Troupers are Patrick Camilleri from Vintage American Blues band The Creepers and Daryl Ebejer from Heavy Metal outfit 12th Ode.
They assemble a Rock troupe made up from musicians coming from various bands and set up live events featuring Classic Rock hits.
The Rock Troupers have been involved in the local music scene since a very young age. Having performed together on various occasions and having organised their fair share of events and activities,
2014 was the right time to crank it up a notch by joining forces to produce events that stood out from the rest. The idea was to bring together a troupe of local musicians and artists to perform a number of rock classics but the outcome was far better than expected and it all took a different turn.
The first event “Freddie For A Day” took place around Freddie Mercury’s birthday in 2014 which was produced in collaboration with Hard Rock Cafe Malta. The event was an inevitable success and as a result it paved the way to “The Afterdark Sessions”, which featured a series of 5 concerts spread throughout 2015 also in collaboration with Hard Rock Cafe Malta.
