Sean Galea

Sean Galea (born November 26, 1998) is a Maltese actor. He was born in Pietà. He is the son of Jonathan Galea and Anna Galea (née Cini). His father is a barman while his mother is a housewife. He lives in Msida.


Galea went to St Aloysius College. Then, he studied at Ġ.F. Abela Junior College. In 2019, he graduated from the University of Malta with a BA (Hons.) in Maltese.


Galea used to play soccer. When he was young, his father wanted him to become a professional soccer player, so he sent him to Pietà Hotspurs Football Club. Later on, Galea started to play for Msida Saint Joseph F.C. but due to the fact that he was having a lot of knee injuries, finally he decided to start acting.


He began to act when he was 14. At first, he started working as an extra in the series Déjà Vu, Iċ-Ċaqqufa, Simpatiċi, Grammi and Il-Patt. Then, Galea was given some speaking roles in various shows, like the soap opera Ħbieb u Għedewwa, the sitcom Inkwilini, the drama Libra and the series Ta' Taħt Fuq.


Afterwards, he had a supporting role in the sitcom It's Morris, where he portrayed William, Bethany's boyfriend. He also played Alex in the drama Manwela. His role as Bjorn in the series Vigilante confirmed that Galea was able to take on different characters. He has also played Mr. Bonello, the main character in the short film Ċans tad-Deheb. Recently, he auditioned for the feature film Klassi Għalina and the History of the World and he portrayed Adam, and Shakespeare's Romeo.
