Leli Mercieca s-Simenża also known as Manwel is-Simenża, was a noted folksinger from Ħal Tarxien. He also featured on vinyl and some of his most renowned songs were Tifħir Lil Malta and Il-Velenu ta' Ċerti Nisa. Mercieca passed away in the 1980s.
