Dr. Josè Herrera

Josè A.Herrera born at Sliema on 16 November, 1961. Lawyer and Politicion.

He is the son of Judge. Joseph Alexander Herrera and Marguerite nee’ Galea.

He studied at St Aloysius College and the University of Malta where he graduated to become Notary at 1985, and in December 1986 became Attorney. He wrote a thesis Legal The charater of Offshore Tigs and practice today in the criminal field.

Attorney Herrera was a member and assistant secretary general of the Representative Council of the students representative council secretary general of the local, and often give talks at the University Ethics in Criminal Law.

He challenged for the first time the general elections of October 1996 on the first district and was one of the four candidates were elected under the constitution of the Malta Labour Party to have parliamentary majority by gab more than fifty percent of –valid votes. He challenged anew to e; exception September 1998. And was elected on the first district to chosen as keynote speaker on the Central Bank, Malta Stock Exchange, Financial Services and Maritime Matters.

Dr. Herrera was a member of the Parliamentary Committee on European Union and Malta, while it was and still is a member of the parliamentary committee on foreign affarijet. He has attended several international conferences on behalf of the party and as a member of parliament in Seoul, South Korea, Athens, Paris, Brussel, and Strasbourg.

He married on 10 October, 1989 to Alexandra born Camilleri Ellul Bonici and have two children Miguel and Martina.

Josè A.Herrera election of 2013 was once again elected the Labour Party had won the General Election and had been appointed Parliamentary Secretary for Culture and Local Goverment.
