John Fenech

John Fenech born in 1957, At a young age of six years he win the Naxxar Song Contest launched by Ż.Ħ.N. In 1968 he sang with his sister Mariella in Sciilia d' Oro Contest, presented by Mike Buongiorno.

Two years later appeared on RAI with the song Xalata that loading took part in the Song Festival of San Marino.

In 1969 John went to America with his family, and there sang for many times for the Maltese of San Francisco on KBRG Station. Għażiża Ommi a song composer by Mro.Carmelo Zammit and lyrics by Albert M.Cassola originaly sang by Marbeck Spiteri but John Fenech won the first edition of Is-Salib tad-Deheb (The International Contents of Golden Cross) and then recorded on a 45 rpm record.
