Jason Sherri is a singer from Malta, based in Düsseldorf, Germany.

His passion for singing and English literature started at a very early age. At the age of 13 when he started playing the piano and later on he also taught himself guitar. Aged 16 he wrote his first song in English called Having You, which became the title track of his sister Debbie Scerri's debut album, released immediately after she represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1997. Another two songs written by Jason appear on this album, one of which a duet called Take Me and the other a song in maltese called Waħdi (On My Own).

In 1997, he decided to concentrate more on the performance aspect and take up a 3-year Diploma Course in Performing Arts at the Millennium Dance 2000 Theatre College in London, where he also explored his dance and acting skills. This opened several other doors in the dance and musical theatre scene, leading him to parts in German productions of My Fair Lady, West Side Story, Miami Nights, Cats, We Will Rock You, Mamma Mia! and Evita in Köln, Osnabrück, and Düsseldorf.

In 2005, he was named Honorable Mention Winner for the song How Could I in the Pop/Uptempo Category of the Unisong 10th Annual International Songwriting Competition.

The following year I Believed in You was chosen to take part in the Malta International Hit Song Contest 2006. It was also performed in Maltese by his sister, Debbie Scerri, under the name Bla Ma Nwettaq Xejn. The Maltese lyrics were written Jason too.

His debut album So Complete was released in Malta in 2007, and it has also been available on iTunes since it was issued.

Later that year he also collaborated with Fauxhawks.

In 2008, Jason was chosen as Substitute Candidate for Musical Showstar 2008, broadcast on ZDF TV, Germany.

He is currently (late 2010) working on turning most of his released songs in German with songwriter Stefan Alexander Engel whom he met in Cyprus, where Jason placed 7th in the Golden Melody International Song Festival with the song This Must Be Love. With this same song, he also became a Semi-Finalist in the UK Songwriting Competition Pop Category 2010.
