Hybla Music Contest is an international festival. The first edition of the festival was done in 2016.

The fetsival will take place in Ragusa normali in October. The festival is organized by the Cultural Arts Association Mondo Di Luci with the artistic direction of President Maria Distefano.

The festival will be held at the Teatro Comunale di Ragusa, a city in Sicily,very famous for the beautiful works of Baroque architecture, and will have competitors from different countries.

The first edition was won by Italy with Elena Manuele and the second edition was won by Krista Hili a prometted singer from Malta.

The first three places of each age category will be awarded, there will also be special prizes awarded by the jury for the interpretation skills and for the original piece.

In the jury there will be music experts from different countries and Italian journalists. The President of the Jury will be Cristiana Ciacci, daughter of Little Tony, a well-known Italian singer known all over the world. In the final Sunday, October 21st will be entirely taken by the Sicilian television Teleiblea and at the same time transmitted in streaming.

The the first Edition singers from Malta did'nt taken part, but in 2017 Maria Distefano reach an agreement with DBS Productions lead by the couple Bernice Šujak and her husband Damir Šujak to rapresened them in Malta.

The Maltese singers where Dylan Curmi, Ema Vella, Shiarainne Camilleri and Krista Hili who win the 2017 edition.
