Gypsy Genes is a pop rock band from Malta, established in 2013.
The band's style is a fusion of disco, funk and pop rock.
The line up consists of James Vella Raxku on drums, Mark Attard Kram on keyboards, Lil Funk Xuereb on bass, David Cassar Torreggiani on guitar and singer Rikki Lee.
Their debut release is called Red Hot Money. A music video featuring old men dancing to impress a young woman, was also released to promote the song. It was featured as the opening track on Toni Sant's 340th Mużika Mod Ieħor podcast on Saturday 14 June 2013.
