Rev Mons. Gerald Frendo born in Ħal-Qormi, Got first possession on 27 November 1955 and remained until he runs the parish canon of the Cathedral in 1978.

In his times, among other things, made structural changes to the rear of the church which increased by some for stores, Presbyterial courtroom and museum rather than part of the cemetery old,

Church was paint under his leadership, built a new cemetery and great instead that the Infetti and made many additions in passion pageant of Good Friday that took the left aptitude as we know it today. He died on the Christmas eve of 1994.
