Franklin Mamo

Franklin Mamo is the founding member and Secretary-General of Maltin fil-Belġju asbl” (the Association of Maltese in Belgium) and the association’s delegate to Europeans throughout the World aisb (the Federation of European expat organizations)

Franklin was born in Malta in 1974. He studied psychology at the University of Malta (1992-96) and philosophy and cultural analysis at the University of Amsterdam (1999-2001). He is a former officer in the Maltese public service (1996-2007).


Currently, Franklin is an official with the European Commission in the Directorate-General of Research and Innovation (since 2007). He is also a committee member of the Federation of Maltese Living Abroad.

Franklin Mamo resides in Brussels, Belgium
