Elizia Dimech, was born on the 6 of May 2004 in Pieta and have lived in Fgura since then. Live at home with her mother and her two brothers, Izmael born in 2006 and Diaz Calafato born in 2013.
Her school education started in Birgu at the Primary school and after that she moved to the secondary school in [[Santa Luċijaħħ, with her favourite school subject being Maltese.
She have always had a passion for acting. It all started when she was very little. And used to watch Maltese drama on tv and try her best to imitate the characters that she see.
DBA Entertainment is the media company in Malta where Elizia get her weekly drama tuition.
They are also the company that first, gave her an opportunity to feature in their main project, ‘Division 7’, and right after, she was given part of ‘Maya’ in their mini series ‘Game Over’, which Elizia consider to date, the best acting experience she ever had! Still today she form part of their weekly classes. Elizia would like to thank all her drama tutors at DBA Classes, mainly Jonathan Azzopardi, who has been personally following her progress and helping her to grow for the past 5 years.
Other acting experiences which also helped her to grow were features in ‘Qalb in-Nies’, Santa Monica, Vigilante and an advert with Louise Doneo. With regards to theatre, Elizia featured as ‘Veronka’ in ‘Il-Bogħod mill-Golgota’, a play by a local theatrical company called Aniċi from Ħal-Qormi.
As she mentioned before, Elizia have a passion for acting, but that’s not all. One of her biggest dreams is to grow and become a writer! She love writing stories and she looking forward to learn the basics so eventually that can have her own stories being produced!
Another dream that Elizia wish could become true someday is to become a director! Directing is Art, if you know well how to direct a scene or a play, you can shape whatever is scripted into your own image, and that for her is the top!
Elizia also have a dream when it regards to acting. She would love to have an opportunity one day to interpret a character which is difficuilt to have here in Malta. The character features a living in a desert like the ones in the movie ‘MadMax’, and it is difficult to have for the simple reason that we do not have a desert in Malta.
