Daryl Schembri

Daryl Schembri was born on 5 March 1994. He comes from Rabat, Malta he is a singer.

Since he was youngerl he was taking part in various musicals and plays by the school would be among the first to be chosen in auditions. Even the school he sang as a soloist in activities several years after a consecutive his voice was recorded in studio to head instead of the actual voice actor when it comes to singing.

In 2008 he began to participate in several local festivals with some cover versions. Furthermore he participated in festivals such as Lwien Mużikali and L-Għanja tal-Maltin original songs written specifically for him from her sister Alexia Schembri and her husband Chan Vella.

In the year 2009 was also entered in the Teen Challenge Competition in the program Sas-6pm on Net TV where he was classified in second place.

In 2011 he was one of the members of the group Silent Shout even interpreted the song Għad Fadal Għada (Still Remains Tomorrow) during the final night of Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2011).

Daryl is a versatile singer nevertheless striking to interpret songs of Michael Buble and Frank Sinatra b'istil swing. From 2013 Daryl called Elijah chose to start a stage name

On 19 September, 2019 Daryl for the fist time alone, was one of the finalist of the 27 Edition of Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2019 held at Pieta near Dar Ċentrali with the song 'Dellijiet' lyrics by his sister Alexia Schembri and her mother Maria Schembri and music by Chan Vella.
