Angèle Cristina

Angèle Cristina, was born on the 2 December, 1981. Angèle is both an actress and singer.

She was proudly baptised at the Senglea Basilica, of which both her mother and her father are very fond of. As a little girl, Angèle lived in Zabbar, then moved to Mosta with her family. Angèle is currently residing in Birkirkara.

Angèle comes from a very artistic background. Her grandmother Vitorin Galea, was a renowned Maltese actress. Angèle’s mother, daughter of Vitorin, is Norma Cristina, another popular name in the local theatrical scene.

In 2002 Angèle graduated in Theatre Studies with Honours. She worked as a drama teacher for 8 years and also taught drama at most theatrical schools.

Angèle has a vast theatrical experience having had the opportunity to take part in many performances, including at our National Theatre The Manoel Theatre.

Angèle’s passion for singing reached its epitome in 2010 when she released her original single named ‘Stronger’. In 2012 Angèle was the presenter of a local TV program called Strada Rjali – this program ran live daily on Net TV from ten till noon. Angèle was also part of the production team.
