Żeppi Fenech Il-Kaħla, also known as Joey, is a folksinger who folk sings improvised verse, high-pitched and the humorous majketti. Born in 1943, he hails from Mosta, but emigrated to Australia. He has taken part in an improvised verse bout in his Maltese native town in June, 1989, together with Żaren Mifsud ta' Vestru, Salvu Pace s-Sulari and Ċikku Degiorgio tal-Fjuri.
