Żaren Mifsud ta' Vestru
was one of the stalwarts of Maltese folk music in the last century. He was born in Żejtun on the 17 of November 1924 and passed away on the 12th of March 1999. His son is noted folksinger Frans Mifsud ta' Vestru, who still presents a style of delivery reminiscent to his father. Żaren's grandson Ionut Mifsud is an up an coming folk guitarist.
