Clean-up Needed

The text currently on this page needs further work. It was most likely imported or reproduced from a website associated with the subject of the page - possibly through a process involving far-from-perfect machine translation, often with awkward results. It is awaiting the attention of an experienced M3P editor, which could be you. It may be slightly out of date, or may need other elements taken care of appropriately, including proofreading or copy-editing for grammar and style.

Xtreme

Between the year 2018 and 2019, the first edition of the X Factor Malta had been introduced, a Syco Entertainment owned format and globally co-produced/licensed by FreemantleMedia Limited where the new girl group Xtreme had made it to the top 10 of the live shows, having been formed during the bootcamp episode.

The girl group consisted of Lyndsay Pace (Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2014-2015), Nicole Azzopardi (Junior Eurovision 2010), Elishia Seeman (Top 5 X Factor Australia with the trio group Beatz) and Martha Micallef Attard. Such a platform has unravelled exciting opportunities for this girl group.

After bootcamp, Xtreme made it to the Six Chair Challenge then the Judges Houses leading them to the last twelve performers for the live shows under the mentoring of Alexandra Alden who was responsible of the groups category.

On the first Live Show held at the MFCC at Ta'Qali on Sunday 6th January 2019, Kayati were eliminated directly by the public votes whilst Xtreme and Franklin Calleja had to battle a sing off challenge between them where the judges chose Xtreme to remain and Franklin Calleja was the second contestant eliminated on the show.

In the second Live Show on Sunday 13th January 2019, Xtreme yet again ended up with the last three contestants and were sent home directly by the public votes whilst 4th Line and Ben Purplle had to battle the next sing off challenge. The bottom two acts came to a tie with the vote of the judges and went to deadlock resulting in Ben Purplle winning the battle and 4th Line being sent home by the public votes. This wonderful adventure comes to an end but will definitely bring an open future for Xtreme.
