Thingybob is the recoring name for Robert Carbonaro, a singer-songwriter from Malta.

Carbonaro formed half of the duo Instincts before moving on to write and perform his own material as a singer, guitarist and ukulele player.

His solo project was launched in August 2012 with the release of the debut single The Man I Used to Be. The song features Keith Anthony on backing guitar and backing vocals and Edward Mifsud on keyboards. It was recorded at Noise Studios and mastered by Daniel Talma. This song was featured as the opening track on the 307th Mużika Mod Ieħor podcast on Saturday 13 August 2012.
