Thea Aquilina was born on the 13 of May, 2004 and lives in Ħal Safi. She is currently attending a post-secondary school, where she is studying Accounts and Economics. She is a Singer.

When she was 4 years old, she started attending an art school where she danced, sang and acted. There she realised that she wanted to study music profondly so at 6 years old Thea started taking individual singing lessons.

Thea represented Malta in various competitions and the results obtained where always very good. An experience never forgotten was when she represented Malta in Sanremo Junior 2016 and sang in the Ariston theater with the Ariston philharmonic Orchestra. After winning Sanremo Junior Malta 2016, she won the Grand Prix title in Italy aswell.

Her love towards Maltese music started when she ended up two times in the final of Għanja tal-Poplu Żgħażagħ, with the songs; Kieku Nista and Tal-Punt. In 2018, Thea producd her first music video, which later on got chosen to be shown in one of the local cinemas. Thea is involved in different student organisation to promote student activism.

Thea has shown interest in writing since she was young. In 2018 she was chosen to take part in a series of workshops and there she learned how to write better stories and also how these stories can be turned into a film. Eventually Thea’s story was chosen as a finalist amongst other stories, it was transformed into a film and everything was a success.

On 27 August, 2021 she passed with the 20 finalist for Konkors Kanżunetta Indipendenza 2021 with the song Min Jaf? Lyrics by Emil Calleja Bayliss and music by [[ ]]
