The Way of the Heart is an exhibition by Anna Grima.

Anna Grima has given the collective title "The Way of The Heart" to her works in this, her latest exhibition. Much of her inspiration has clearly been derived from the spirit motifs painted on the walls of the Hal-Saflieni Hypogeum. In a complex field of structural components, she has incorporated fragmentary echoes of these ancient, cryptic scripts. While representing what is familiar in the Malta's cultural heritage, these symbols provide not only tantalizing clues to their deeper significance, a hidden code just beyond the grasp of the viewer . Meaning is gained in the revelation of the soft glow of an inner light, but full comprehension remains beyond reach.
