The Templars Orginally this band was joined at 1961 with four youngsters who formed a band and name it Hot Shots. Playing three lead guitars and a drummer.

There line-up was Arthur Desira, the late Twanny Desira, Lino Desira, and Wilfred Buttigieg.

Mostly they playing hits by the The Shadows, The Ventures, The Spotniks, The Shantays and others bands of that era.

At 1965 Hot Shots changed name to The Templars, For some times thay accompanying the singer Joe Grech, normaly they give shows at the Rocky Vale in St Julians with this following line-Up Dennis Buhagiar –Rhythm Guitar, Joe Buhagiar – Bass Guitar, Arthur Desira – Second Guitar, Wilfrid Buttigieg – Lead Guitar, Lino Desira – Drums.)
