The Mics Band are a family band of musicians, a sister, Michelle and her three brothers, Wayne Micallef , Richard Edward Micallef and Daniel Micallef. They are also accompanied by their father, Joe George Micallef. The name came about as their surname is Micallef and this is the easy, shortened version. They started singing, performing and learning music together at a very early age.

These young musicians already have plenty of entertainment experience under their belts. Apart from taking part in many song festivals such as the Malta Song for Europe they have also been playing in many established venues and various functions (mostly weddings) and the best hotels for the past ten years.

The Mics are all professional musicians and the superb male and female vocals sit at the heart of the sound, supported by a heart-warming blend of harmony. It's a wonderful, easy-listening sound that not only charms and entertains but also has enough kicking rhythm to fill the dance floor. With an ever-growing repertoire of chart songs, The Mics are able to bring each era back to life with their extensive repertoire of Slow love songs, Rock 'n' Roll, Disco favourites, Rock, Soul, Motown and recent popular hits are all represented that will please all generations.

The Mics also provide music for the church service which comprises of either one solo voice or a duet accompanied by their own keyboard or if preferred with acoustic guitar.

Whatever style of wedding you are planning, you can expect a top-quality performance that will enhance any occasion. The Mics are flexible to suit every couples's tastes and budget and available as a combination of duos, trios up to a five-piece band that comes complete with a PA system that produces an excellent sound in venues of any size.
