The Madhatters are a group of Maltese rock musicians who had been playing together for some time before their first recorded release in 2013.

The band was formed at St. Augustine College, were they were encouraged to perform at the 2012 annual talent show. Guitarist Robert Muscat, bassist Daniel Cachia and drummer Ismael Bonello had performed together in earlier talent shows at the college and so they decided to ask singer Antoine Farrugia to join them.

Since then, they have performed at various events (including Milied Mellieħi, supporting act for Pink Floyd UK, Malta Annual Trade Fair, and Gawhra Fest in 2012) and eventually started producing their own material.

Their debut release, My Remedy, was recorded in 2013 at Lito's Place in Floriana. It was featured as the closing track on the 353rd Mużika Mod Ieħor podcast by Toni Sant on Saturday 12 October 2013.

They credit Airport Impressions as their main musical influence.
