The Drop-Out Band is one of the most renowned wedding bands in Malta. The band came into the limelight in year 2007 by Mro. Joseph Chircop. Since then, the band was busy being invited to play in various important venues in the Maltese islands. Joseph is fully dedicated to the trumpet and he has a degree in Music (Trumpet Performance) at the University of Malta and also at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester (UK).

The band comprises of 2 vocalists, the well established singer Ritienne Azzopardi who has an amazing repertoire and vocal range, and janvil, And six piece brass section. Clifford Borg who has recently joined the band plays the keyboards. He is well known for his original piano compositions and he by far one of the finest pianist with respect to new age piano music. The band consists of some of Malta’s top player’s with the key board player, Mro. Joe Brown, one of Malta’s foremost musicians and arrangers.

An added value to the band is by far enhanced by the experienced musicians – Charles Mizzi on bass, Chris Camilleri on drums, Angelo Borg on Tenor Sax, , Tony ‘Najju’ Muscat drums, and Dennis Camilleri on trombone who forms part of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra,

Violinist Mario Ciantar and Singer Manuel Xuereb are regular guests.
