The Counterbalance Project is a Maltese metal band formed in 2012.
In May 2012, two buddies (Aaron Dimech & Conrad Dimech) decided to start sharing and creating new ideas around music. Their goal was to start working on new material, in collaboration with other musicians and/or singers.
Their first single, Inception, which was released in February 2013 features singer Danielle Ciantar and drummer Jean-Luc Camilleri from the band Sugar Rush. This song was accompanied by a promotional video released through YouTube. It was also featured on Toni Sant's 331st Mużika Mod Ieħor podcast on Saturday 23 February 2013.
