Simone Gauci

Simone Gauci was born on 19 Febuary, 1992 at St Luke Hospital, Gwadamangia. She's a singer.

Has twenty years and still going with her studies. Began to sing in the school choir which lasted about eight years after completing secondary school continued practicing singing.

In 2010 she was picked to went to London to sing with choir to participate in the Beatles tribute. In 2011 participated in a contest that was part of the television program Entertain Me presented by Mariella Pace Asciak and her son Gordie Debono and she win the first place. This led to go to Prague to compete and there she win the first place too in its category.

That year he also took part in the program and rebbħet Sas-sitta and win the Passport to Indifest competition that led to the final of the Konkors Kanżunetta Indipendenza which interpreted the original song Id F’id words of Keith Zammit and music of Renato Briffa. In 2012 it issued a disc with another singer, the single-named Destiny's Call and was written in order to remind her girlfriend who died tragically

In March 2013 she will participate in the final of Għanja tal-Poplu with an original song Djarju Ta’ Tifkiriet words of Emil Calleja Bayliss and music by Mark Spiteri Lucas.

Simone wish to continue practicing singing and look at every experience as a start for new opportunities to move forward in her career.
