Clean-up Needed

The text currently on this page needs further work. It was most likely imported or reproduced from a website associated with the subject of the page - possibly through a process involving far-from-perfect machine translation, often with awkward results. It is awaiting the attention of an experienced M3P editor, which could be you. It may be slightly out of date, or may need other elements taken care of appropriately, including proofreading or copy-editing for grammar and style.

Simone Gauci

In 2010 she was chosen to go London to sing with a choir in order to participate in the Beatles tribute held in The Royal Albert Hall. In 2011 she participated in a contest that was part of the television programme Entertain Me presented by Mariella Pace Asciak and her son Geordie Debono in which she won the first place. This led her to go to Prague to compete and there she won the first place too in her age category. That year she also took part in the programme Sas-sitta and won the Passport to Indifest competition that led her to the final of the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza in which she interpreted the original song Id F’id words by Keith Zammit and music by Renato Briffa. In 2012, along with another singer she recorded an original single named Destiny's Call. The song was written as a dedication to a friend whod died tragically.

In March 2013 she will participate in the final of Għanja tal-Poplu with an original song Djarju Ta’ Tifkiriet words by Emil Calleja Bayliss and music by Mark Spiteri Lucas.

Simone wishes to continue practicing singing and looks at every experience as a start for new opportunities which will guide her to move forward in her career.
