Sharon Pereira

Sharon Pereira, was born on 7 May, 1996. She is a singer/ songwriter.

Grew up at Birkirkara, at the age of 10 left to England, and at the age of 13 went to Canada.

Her genre of music is RnB, soul and Motown with musical influences like Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston, and, Bruno Mars. She started performing from a young age, having grown up watching her father, who himself was a singer. "She experienced bullying at school because she is a bit short for her age but through it she became more confident believing in herself and here talent. I have never had any professional vocal coaching but I’ve been singing in public from age 5.

She has performed with some of the best musicians in Toronto on stages like the Exhibition Place, the Lakeshore Convention Centre, the Hershey Centre, the Mississauga Celebration Square, and at Yonge and Dundas Square at Toronto Youth Day 2015. In 2011, she won the Carassauga Singing Star Contest representing her country, Malta. She has also aired on several radio shows in Malta and T.V. shows in Canada for interviews. On June 11, 2015, she released her first original album called Perfect Stranger which was co-written by herself and her brother who is also the composer and engineer of this album.
