Saving Alexis is a four-piece pop rock band from Malta / Gozo.
Saving Alexis are a power-pop band with influences from bands such as : Sum 41, blink-182, We the Kings, Bowling for Soup, All Time Low, etc...The band members vary in their personal music styles but together they created their own unique touch in the punk pop music scene...
They first appeared on the local scene in the summer of 2010 with a single called Lipstick Lies which was a hit on local radio stations as well as a No1 for several weeks on local radio charts. By the beginning of 2011, this was followed up by another song called Ocean Deep which also was a hit on local radio and also gained the No1 spot in the charts after a couple of weeks.
On the strength of their debut release, they were nominated in the Best Newcomers category of the Bay Music Awards 2010.
