Salvu Sciberras Gwardarobbi was an improvised verse folk singer. He was born in 1945 and hailed from Tarxien. A regular folksinger, he is also recorded in a 1991 bout with Ċikku Degiorgio Tal-Fjuri, Frans Cassar Il-Bloqq and Fredu Abela ż-Żejtuni during the Mnarja festivities in Buskett.
