Salvu Darmanin Ir-Ruġel File:Salvu Darmanin Ir-Ruġel.jpg was one of the most prominent folksingers in the post-war period. Born in Żabbar in 1905, he was considered as one of the more educated għannejja, his occupation being a building contractor.
