Huwa studja t-teorija, l-armonija, l-kontropunt, l-orkestrazzjoni, set works analysis u l-kompozizzjoni. Dan l-istudju wassal biex akkwista d-diplomi Dip.Mus.LCM, A.Mus.LCM u L.Mus.LCM tal-London College of Music, Universita' ta' West London.
Robert ikkompona diversi marci brijuzi, valzi u marci funebri. Fit-10 ta’ Frar, 2016, ħareġ l-ewwel album ta' marċi funebri bl-isem ta' GOLGOTA u propju seba’ snin wara fit-12 ta’ Frar, 2023 ħareg it-tieni album bl-isem ta' ECCE MATER TUA, fl-okkażżjoni li saret fis-sede ta’ Għaqda Mużikali Beland.
Robert huwa miżżewweġ lil Audrianne u għandhom żewġt itfal, Luke u Abigail. Huwa tħarreġ ġewwa l-kulleġġ De La Salle u fis-sena 2002 iggradwa bħala Associate Member tac-Chartered Insurance Institute ġewwa Londra (ACII). Bħala professjoni, Robert jaħdem fil-qasam tal-assikurazzjoni.
Robert huwa membru fil-kummissjoni Banda Beland. Mis-sena 2014 sal 2017 kien jgħallem it-teorija fi ħdan is-Soċjeta' Filarmonika San Pietru Banda Birzebbuga A.D. 1990 u fl-2019 huwa inħatar bhala l-għalliem tat-teorija fi ħdan l-Għaqda Mużikali Beland A.D. 1861 Żejtun fejn għadu jokkupa din il-kariga sal-llum.
