Rhea Chetcuti

Rhea Chetcuti was born on the 28 January, 1998. She live with her family in her hometown, Naxxar. She studied in the Primary School in Naxxar and afterwards she continued her studies at the Girl’s Secondary School, Maria Regina College in Mosta. Now she is continue studying at Mcast, Poala. She has a diploma in Health and Social Care, Advanced Diploma in Children’s Care Learning and Development and now she is going to start studying on a higher level which is Mcast Higher Diploma in Advanced Studies in the Early Years.

Rhea likes to sing from a very young age. She was part of the chior directed by ‘Kaya’ Priscilla Giordano Psaila. In 2012, when she was 14 years old, she took an intensive course which maintains several lessons which was directed by Neville Refalo. Then, she continued studying singing with ‘Kaya’ Priscilla Giordana Psaila at Singer Stage Academy.

The first festival which Rhea first performed was Singer Stage International Festival 2012. Afterwords, she continued taking part in other festivals such as Singer Stage, AllyGee Entertainment, Starlight, Gaffiero Productions, The Harmony of Voices, [[Shine Singers Festivals by DBS Productions, and Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2017 in the ‘Talent Ġdid’ (New Talent) section.

She also won some festivals such as AllyGee Entertainment, Gaffiero Productions and Starlight Festival where she placed in the second place.

Rhea took part also in the Tra La La Festival 2017 which was held in Macedonia. She was placed in the third place from her category amongst other singers which came from different countries. She is very happy and she is looking forward for the next one.

She was invited to sing in several places and festivals which she sang as a guest and also in Sajf ma Gaffiero

Apart from singing, Rhea likes also to take part in drama too. She took part in the Christmas Pantomime which is being held at the Catholic Institute at Floriana. She took part in this show for five consequtive years.

She says that in the pantomime she enjoyes every second of it as it consists of singing and also drama. She also says that apart from that, it helps you to gain more confidence on stage and also get to know more new friends.

Rhea also likes to go to swimming in Summer and also she likes to get to know new friends. Apart from this, Rhea presented some festivals mainly the Century Voices 2 which was organised by Domenique Azzopardi in the name of Marija Bambina Naxxar Victory Band.

Rhea’s wish is to continue her further studies in singing and to continue taking part in other important festivals in our country and also internationally.

She also wish to end her studies and to work as a kindergarten teacher in a Governmental / Private schools.
