Renato Micallef, popularly known as Renato is one of Malta's most successful singers. He begun his career as a resident singer with his band Eclipse at the Preluna Hotel's exclusive nightspot The Skyroom in Sliema in the Seventies. His band included Joe Bibi Camilleri on percussion, Godwin Cachia on synthesiser and Mario Said on bass guitar.
