Relikc is a former alternative funk rock band from Malta.

Relikc

Early in 2006 a group of students decided to have a couple of jamming sessions. After several successful yet casual jams, the musicians grew closer and it was not long before they decided to stick together as a formal band.

Eventually four of the members moved on to pursue their own styles of Funk and Rock forming a tightly-knit rock-quartet that better suited their direction. The members, Luke Grech - Guitars, Ivan Giordano - Bass, Robert Spiteri - Drums and Keith Zammit - Vocals; had several successful gigs and managed to prove their worth. Few months later, Joseph Axiak - Keyboards was also invited to join the band.

The musicians had been friends and had played together in many different projects from a very young age, resulting in a tight band with great chemistry between the members.

Over the years, Relikc released a number of songs which were aired over numerous radio stations and gained a very loyal audience for its energetic and fun performances. However 2012 marked a decline in Relikc's activity due to differing commitments and availabilities. This lead to the eventual decision by Robert to leave the band in order to focus on his other commitments. The band decided that Relikc can not proceed with a different member, as the band's unique sound was a result of each member's varied input and personality. Relikc decided to end this chapter and start anew.

Stay tuned for more info about the new band!
