Early in 2006 a group of students decided to have a couple of jamming sessions. After several successful yet casual jams, the musicians grew closer and it was not long before they decided to stick together as a formal band.

Eventually four of the members moved on to pursue their own styles of Funk and Rock forming a tightly-knit rock-quartet that better suited their direction. The members, Luke Grech - guitars, Ivan Giordano - Bass, Robert Spiteri - Drums and Keith Zammit - Vocals; had several successful gigs and managed to prove their worth. Few months later, Joseph Axiak - Keyboards was also invited to join the band.

The musicians had been friends and had played together in many different projects from a very young age, and the band is as tight as ever and there is a great chemistry between the members.

2009 was a very busy year for Relikc. The band breathlessly crammed 2009 with a multitude of gigs. Relikc also recorded two of its originals "Tomorrow" and "Mindwreck" and established its position in the local music scene pushing through with its particular style and variety of sound. After achieving two awards in the online podcast by Toni Sant, Relikc further sought to spread its music.

2010 was even busier, with more gigs, including a second appearance at the Great Farson's Beerfest, and with the release of "Rollercoaster" which is currently being aired on local radio stations.

2011? Relikc is planning big...
