Qoton was a vocal folk group from Malta, active in the mid to the late Seventies.

Members included John B. Dougall, Valerio Bugeja, Joe Carr, Charles Cirillo, Ronald Pace, Anna Cachia, Miriam Darmanin and Doris Darmanin.

Group Qoton

They are best known for their 1977 performance on the song Filgħodu Kmieni along with X-Bones written and produced by John B. Dougall. The B side featured the track Niftakrek. The single was released by Dougall Records. In 1983 they participated in the Festival Internazzjonali tal-Kanzunetta Maltija with the song Meta Nkun ‘l Hawn, written by H. Camilleri.
