Patrick Harvey born on 14 November, 1983 at Marsaskala (Wied il-Ghajn).

Started playing guitar at the age of 11 and self-taught for the first 4 years. At the age of 15 attended guitar lessons with a well-known guitar tutor, Tony Pace, for one year and then pursued further studies alone. Between 2007 and 2009 received tuition by renowned musician Jean Pierre Zammit, guitarist with Tribali.

Early influences consist of classic rock, heavy rock and British heavy metal. Later influenced by progressive rock, lead guitar virtuosos, 90’s rock, and more recently alternative rock. Iron Maiden, OzzyOsbourne, Type O Negative, Dream Theater, Joe Satriani, Foo Fighters.

The first exposure to live music took place during Junior College years through participation in several college activities with teenage rock bands. At university further opportunities came by to play in concerts and activities.

Between 2007 and 2009 formed part of local artist Thomas Hedley’s band and played in many local events such as awards nights and Farsons Beer Festival amongst others. During this time there was the opportunity to enter the recording studio as well. Following this experience there were several opportunities to play as a session musician, recording, as well as having another side project with a cover band.

In 2010 started playing in local venues as an acoustic guitar duo, with gigs taking place on a weekly basis. This project is still going on to date and got established several entertainment outlets.

In January 2014 formed an alternative rock band, Forty Days of Rain, with the aim of releasing original material and become established in the local music scene. The first single was released on local radio stations in September 2014, with the title Strings Left to Fray.
