Owen Agius

Owen Agius was born at Ħaż-Żabbar on 14 November, 1999. He lives in Żabbar with his parents Marco and Michelle and his brother

From his younger age Owen began sprouting containing incitement to singing. It was still only got three year,s when he started showing interest and was at that time that his mother approached a singing teacher Romina Vella to join her choir. This was the beginning of Owen career in singing.

His teacher at that time, noted that Owen was well tuned and she offered to given individual attention to his start. At Five years he had already started in he’s age festivals, and he participated, with his first song Grazzi Tassew (Thanks Truly), written and compose by Augusto Cardinali, He got a good performance and had been classified in third place!

From that day Owen continued studying singing. The featured his successes from the outset that they would be very good. Has won numerous festivals both his own songs and even titles for the best voice. At Nine years he continued to learn singing under another singing teacher Priscilla Psaila today knows as Kaya.

Priscilla Psaila was the same person, that encouraged Owen to even Ilwien Muzikali organized by Bronk Productions with the song Xtaqt Inkun Naf with words Christopher Azzopardi and music by Priscilla Psaila.

Owen has also participated in the festival L-Għanja tal-Maltin organized by Martin Degabriele where his song Katabum, succeeded in obtaining even the first place! Besides this Owen never decreased its participation in Maltese Nights took place around Malta.

The career of Owen continued to grow when, he participates even talent shows where even obtain the best results even in the first places. Other song that Owen made it successful was named Żgħożija (Youth) , written by Josephine Grech Ebejer and music of Priscilla Psaila.

Besides singing Owen was learn dancing with the Keith Dance Studio together with his partner Kylie Spiteri. And he always got to used korjagiarifi in his songs. He was also presented the opening of the marathon Oħloq Tbissima on television along with the singer Maxine Pace.

Beside singing Owen loves also to practice sports, mostly football and he also played football with his town place Żabbar St. Patricks in the youths teams. He support also the tim of Liverpool.

Apart from sports and studying Owen, had put singing at his side, but one could hold his hope that in the coming years, Owen returns again, on the stage of Festivals.
