(1922-2012) was a famous improvised folk singer. He was born in 1922 on hailed from Naxxar. A blacksmith by trade, he folksang with the most renowned performers, most notably with Pawlu Seychell l-Għannej.
Many renowned folksingers refer to him as the doyen of folksingers. He was known to keep to the subject and refrain from referring to slanderous words in improvised verse. Has folk sang with the major performers of his time, but is also remembered for having given Ninu Gatt Ir-Rajsu his baptism of fire at the Labour Party Club in Żebbuġ.
