Mro. Salvatore Mallia directed to the Mother of the Maltese and Gozitan Band three times. 1903 Mro. Salvatore Mallia again musical director was appointed conductor of the Philharmonic Society San Filippo (1903-1904). On 27 September, 1903 On the occasion of the inauguration of the High Cross within Siġġiewi and with the blessing of Pope Leo XIII.
