Mro. Gaetano Emmanuele Cali was born in Catania on 17 June 1885.
From a young age appeared to drive for music and his parents sent him to study at one of the best Italian musicians and composers, the Mro. Francesco Paolo Frontini. The Maestro Gaetano Emmanuele Cali died at the age of 51 years at Syracuse on 1 May 1936.
