Mro. Ġiuseppe Busuttil was born in Rabat Malta on 13 March 1896, from Ħaż-Żebbuġ parents, Carmelo and Mary Grace Busuttil Maiden.
Baptized the next day in Mdina Cathedral. At a young age teaches clarinet with Każin San Pawl Banda Konti Ruġġieru of Rabat. He continued his musical studies at the Mro. Emanuel Spiteri, Band Master of the Royal Malta Artillery, which teaches the course of harmony, kontrapont and instrumentation.
