Monica Fenech

Monica Fenech is a singer born on 30 December 1959 in Pietà.

She grew up listening to music. Her parents were music lovers and dancers.

From a young age, Monica showed an interest in singing and playing various musical instruments. While she took part in several song contests in the late sixties and early seventies, She also developed her love for the violin and played for 6 years.

Then Monica gave it all up when she met the love of her life. Twenty years went by, and one night she was out with her colleagues to a karaoke bar, and it all started from there.

She joined various bands and started singing again, with Tabooz, The Unknown, Moonshine, and also sang for some time with Ace Line Dancers Company. Early in 2018 year she formed a duo with Peter Baldacchino with the name Travelling Troubadours It all came natural, and taught herself as how to control her voice.

She totally gained her confidence in her late 40’s and it has also been her therapy to deal with her son’s loss. Monica’s wonderful experience!
