Moira Zahra

Moira Zahra is a Edinburgh-based freelance illustrator / graphic designer with a background in Creative Higher Education.

My visual style is quite versatile, but it often involves characters and patterns. My work is partially inspired by classic fashion illustration but with a playful, witty and contemporary approach. I also illustrate for children's books and I've co-authored my first children's book last year which has been shortlisted at the Malta National Book Prize, 2018. I'm influenced by people and culture mostly, through the observation of everyday life with a sketchbook in hand and a healthy amount of people-watching. Moira Zahra [1]'
