Clean-up Needed

The text currently on this page needs further work. It was most likely imported or reproduced from a website associated with the subject of the page - possibly through a process involving far-from-perfect machine translation, often with awkward results. It is awaiting the attention of an experienced M3P editor, which could be you. It may be slightly out of date, or may need other elements taken care of appropriately, including proofreading or copy-editing for grammar and style.

She performed for several occasions at the Russian Cultural Centre. She took part in songcraft and performed several times at Saint James Cavalier. Maya has been interviewed and sang for TVM as part of songcraft. She has performed at the Storeroom in Ta’ Xbiex for Alexandra Alden’s songbird sessions. She participated and won the Shelagh McCartin Songwriting Award and has released her first single “Stop Wasting Your Time” on June 3rd 2020 under Somnio Studios.

Maya usually play the guitar as she sing but she also can play the piano.

She wishes to continue writing and producing songs that hopefully people will appreciate and she hopes to get to perform them live. Apart from this, she is also aiming to become a psychiatrist.

She feel that songwriters are underappreciated and that there should be more events and activities related to such an important aspect of music in Malta.
