Mario Bonnici born in Vittoriosa on the 18th November 1949.
Married to Josephine nee’ Gatt from Marsa and now residence in Fgura, have one son Brian who also perform singing entertainment.
He started singing in 1965 and joined with The Happy Guitars band as a solist singer.
In 1967 the group participated in Talent Song Festival television show on TVM and place 2nd.
Mario performed in many Night clubs and Hotels around Malta as: The Pescatore, Nigret Night Club, Buskett Road House, [The Hilton]], Verdala Hotel, Santa Maria Hotel, Alexandra Hotel, and TV Shows. For over 7 years performed with his own group Flash Band at the Bellview Restaurant and night club at Mellieħa.
Composed songs for himself and other singers in Malta. And in 1997 paticipated with one of his songs Mumenti Sbieħ in a festival Kliem u Mużika on TVM and placed 3rd.
In 1999 he launched a CD Album called Mumenti Sbieħ which is still one of the most played on the local radio stations,
His favourite music are the 60’s and 70’s, and love to sing Ballads and Rock ‘n’ Roll, Favourite artists are Engelbert Humperdrink, Tom Jones, Elvis Presley and Cliff Richard.
Mario always thank to his family and all my fans for their support.
